Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke
When I was younger… like all asian kids. My parents wanted me to play the piano. I hated it. HATED IT!
To compromise this.. My old man in his wisdom said I could either continue piano or take up Scouting and Martial Arts. No contest. It was an easy sell and for most of my childhood I spent it camping around australia and around the world.
I designed this shoe to commemorate that time. (I also designed a pair to wear at my wedding which I will show at a later date)
Initially I wanted camo like Mayors recent bespokes and the ATF crew. However that was material supplied to nike by Mayor so it wasn’t available to me. So therefore the next best option was waxed canvas! I chose Khaki and Dark Green to represent the scout uniform and purple to represent their emblem.
I used cork for the swoosh because… Its cork. Who hates cork? I also thought it fitted the outdoors scout theme.
Gum bottoms because gum bottoms on anything is FIRE! Let me know what you guys think.
